Philly Cheese-Steak Lettuce Cups

FITness: 217 calories, 16g protein, 10g carbs, 7.5g fat

What You’ll Need:

  • 12 oz lean beef steak

  • 1 1/3 c. sliced mushrooms

  • 1 c. thinly sliced onions

  • 4 slices fat-free American cheese

  • 8 leaves romaine lettuce

  • Yellow squash

How To:

  • Slice meat into thin strips.

  • Coat medium pan with cooking spray and add mushrooms and onions. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until onions are slightly browned. Set aside.

  • Remove pan from heat, re-grease, and cook steak for a few minutes.

  • Break cheese slices into smaller strips and place on top of steaks while still in pan. Continue to cook until cheese melts.

  • Remove from heat, mix in veggies and serve on lettuce leaves.

  • Meanwhile, steam sliced yellow squash and serve sprinkled with salt and pepper.
